3rd Turkish Coffee Night

 

Red Rose Foundation organized its 3rd Turkish Coffee Night on January 16, 2010. It was an enjoyable evening for our guests, who sampled Turkish food, coffee and Ashure in a warm, friendly atmosphere of the event. 
 
Initially, Sait Onal, the president of our foundation made an opening speech, and then participants were welcomed to have delicious Turkish food. Following the food, Turkish Coffee was introduced and served to everybody. Some of our guests learned and enjoyed how to make Turkish Coffee.

The Red Rose Intercultural and Educational Foundation is a non-political, non-profit, charitable and educational organization whose mission is to help individuals and communities successfully live, learn, and work in our increasingly diverse society. Our Foundation focuses on helping people understand their own culture, understand others, develop positive inter-group relations, and build strong communities.

Communities all across the nation have become increasingly diverse. These changes impact our neighborhoods, schools, workplaces, places of worship and everywhere that people live, learn, work and play.

Demographic changes and the desire by many individuals to be recognized in their own terms, are factors which have contributed to this increased attention to diversity.
