Iftar Dinner 2023 with our Bosnian Friends
A beautiful Iftar Dinner was held on the evening of 03/31/2023, bringing together members of our Bosnian and Turkish communities in South Central PA. The event was a true celebration of unity and our long friendship, as we all shared a delicious meal breaking our fast together this Ramadan. The evening was filled with prayer, laughter, lively conversation, and a sense of shared purpose and togetherness. Being together with our brothers and sisters is one of the best parts of Ramadan!

We hope you and your family are safe and well during this time. We are writing to you today to cordially invite you to participate in a livestream fundraising event on May 5th, starting at 7 p.m. EST. The event will be hosted by Embrace Relief in collaboration with Boston Celtic’s NBA player Enes Kanter’s nonprofit, the Enes Kanter Foundation.
The goal of this fundraiser is to raise funds to help alleviate the suffering and financial anxiety many Americans are facing right now. The funds raised will help supply frontline workers in hospitals with personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, hand sanitizer, etc. as well as help people with their essential needs such as food for the family, pay their rent and utilities, and medical expenses. As a loving and caring person, it would be an honor to have you join this event to help ease the burden millions of Americans are experiencing.
